I'm not one of those people who tries to rush the season. When the holiday street decorations went up in Cuyahoga Falls before Halloween, I wasn't amused.
Surprises are usually a good thing in the garden and my recent surprise was the blooming bougainvillea in the front yard. This is a plant that froze to the ground last winter. I thought it was dead, but when I went to pull it up, I noticed a little new growth.
