Dried flower - Gift Guide: Edible gifts with a local flavor sure to please

When it comes to holiday gift giving, it's hard to beat sweet treats to eat. You can find great gifts at specialty food stores, such as those in the Strip District. One popular pick is Penzeys Spices, which offers a mind-boggling array of seasonings and gift baskets.
DENVER - Denver Botanic Gardens will be filled with holiday gift items, carolers and food during the 43rd annual Holiday Sale Nov. 17-19. All proceeds from the sale will help fund the gardens' conservation programs.
Our new Ag Program Coordinator, Julia Pryor, brought in a flower arrangement this week to help decorate our annual office Thanksgiving dinner (we are starting the Thanksgiving eating early this year!). Julia's beautiful display reminds me that dried flower arrangements work well this time of year.
