A couple outside a Beijing shopping mall tie pairs of pink and blue ribbons on a fence Wednesday to symbolize togetherness. Valentines Day, known in Chinese as Qing Ren Jie, or Lovers Day, is catching on in Chinese cities, with florists boosting flower prices by 500 percent or more on the holiday.
