Garden Department Program (Flower arranging)
The Garden Department of the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead presented a program on "The Charm of a Shady Garden" by Mary Jean Hunt of Planting Fields Arboretum and they had a wonderful turn out. Garden City is known as a Tree City and rightly so.
