Flowers for funeral - 4 Victims Of Deadly Fire Buried In Same Casket

A woman who died in a house fire that killed seven people was remembered as a hero and loving mother who tried in vain to save three of her children.
GLADSTONE Mark E. Zimmermann, 56, of 415 S. 10th St., Gladstone, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, while on a skiing trip with family and friends in the Ironwood area.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Melvin "Buck" Larson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jefferson County.
