SHREWSBURY TWP.: (Roses flower) Bear statue stolen

A man stole a large hand-carved bear from The Flower Patch at the Markets at Shrewsbury in Shrewsbury Township last week, according to state police. The man used his jacket to conceal the bear, police said. The theft occurred about 11:10 a.m. Nov. 17.

PHOENIX -- A Valley woman was awakened Friday morning with a call from an anonymous person saying her husband had been murdered, police say. Officers said a body was found in front of a flower shop at 7th Avenue and Thomas Road around daybreak.
