MARQUETTE Joan A. Tuominen, age 69, of 1725 Wilkinson Ave., died Thursday morning, November 23, 2006, at Marquette General Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Home.
Betty Schacher, 86, of Sweet Home died Wednesday. She was born to Ingwald and Sigrid (Reite) Gustafson in Cathlamet, Wash. Betty loved to do crafts. She made pine needle baskets, liked to work in her yard, fish, camp with family and listen to old Lawrence Welk tapes.
Darleen R. Peterson, 62, of Le Mars, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at the Good Samaritan Village of Le Mars. The Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars is assisting Darleen's family with funeral arrangements.
